Improvised Shakespeare, A Success!

We had so much fun presenting the Improvised Shakespeare Company!

The Improvised Shakespeare Company performed their original play, "King Richard in the Parking Lot" to the full audience!

Photographs of this show were taken by Christina Visconti.

The actors presented the deformed King Richard, alternating between which hand was deformed every time he took the stage and his story of love, life, and even war with the French.

In true Shakespeare form, the Company presented some hilarious double entendre scenes that the crowd thought were hilarious! The men played women exceptionally well, as you can see in the love gif. The play featured all of Shakespeare's regulars, such as family drama. This play had King Richard's brother burying him alive so he could become King, as well as the brothers fighting over a lady love!

The play also featured the French trying to start a war with England. However, French soldiers were more concerned with eating pie than fighting the English. The actors even went into the audience during this part of the show and the audience howled with laughter the whole time!

Overall, this show was a huge success! The audience really loved the presentation of the Improvised Shakespeare Company!
